In this role, you will be responsible for validating, analyzing, and monitoring end-to-end financial and transactional flows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation across multiple markets. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and cross-functional teams to review automated reconciliation results, analyze discrepancies, and ensure financial processes are executed according to committed SLAs. Your focus will be on data integrity, audit readiness, and continuous improvement, operating in a fast-changing, high-volume fintech environment, with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee end-to-end reconciliation processes for transactional financial flows, ensuring proper recording and audit compliance.
- Review automated reconciliation outputs, analyze discrepancies, and identify potential issues or risks.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies detected during reconciliation processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all reconciliation and control processes are executed in line with defined SLAs.
- Monitor financial flows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity.
- Support internal and external audit processes, providing clear documentation and traceability.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within Fin Ops operations.
Requirements
- Experience in Finance Operations, Reconciliations, Audit, or Fin Ops roles, ideally in multinational or fintech environments.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to work with large transactional datasets.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid problem-solving skills, with experience performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to change, and work autonomously under pressure.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Nice to have
- Experience working in regulated or audit-driven environments.
- Knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
- Background in payments, settlements, or high-volume financial operations.
