(Senior) Product Manager, Trading Risk

Overview

Join a diverse, fast-paced environment where you’ll shape how risk is managed for one of the world’s leading crypto trading platforms. This role focuses on building risk strategies for the Futures product to protect users and markets, designing risk features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate risk concepts into product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine risk strategies for the Futures product to protect users and markets.
• Design and enhance risk features like liquidation logic, margin system, leverage tiers, and risk limits.
• Work closely with Quants, Engineers, Trading, and Risk teams to spot risk exposures and create solutions.
• Maintain dashboards, alerts, and analytics tools to support risk decision-making and monitoring.
• Track market trends, competitor risk mechanisms, and new threats in the crypto derivatives space.
• Lead incident reviews when risk events happen and propose improvements to prevent repeats.
• Support launches of new products by assessing risk scenarios and readiness.

Requirements

• Open from junior to senior levels; product experience is not a must as long as you have experience working with trading systems.
• Deep understanding of Financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options etc.
• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
• Ability to understand trading algorithms, risk methods, and translate them into product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
