Senior Motion Designer - Paid Advertisement

We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer with strong motion and editing skills to join our team and elevate our short-form paid and social video content.

The Global Creative Team shapes how Binance shows up in the world—developing high-impact campaigns, brand systems and creative assets that communicate innovation, trust, and accessibility at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Animating short-form videos with strong performance focus across various social channels (Meta, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).

  • Editing UGC and motion graphics in trend-driven formats tailored to short-form platforms.

  • Collaborating with the brand, creative and paid teams to ensure seamless visual continuity between brand and marketing projects.

  • Analysing competitors’ ads and social trends to stay ahead of worldwide creative patterns.

  • Understanding of creative performance metrics and a data-informed approach to iteration.

  • Applying a modular approach to editing: treating creative iteration like building blocks — analysing, merging, and remixing successful elements to drive results.

  • Leveraging AI tools to accelerate and enhance production (image, video, SFX).

  • Proposing, testing, and iterating on new content formats based on performance insights.

  • Leading and upskilling junior motion designers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a motion designer (agency, in-house, or startup), with a strong emphasis on marketing design.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional brand and marketing design work, clear and strategic, creative thinking across a variety of channels and mediums.

  • Ability to take scripts, footage or design boards and turn them into clear engaging videos.

  • Strong organisational skills and comfort juggling multiple projects with tight timelines.

  • A strong point of view on brand and visual storytelling.

Motion graphics:

  • Exceptional proficiency in Adobe After Effects including plugins (animation, editing, kinetic typography, infographics).

  • Working knowledge of Premiere and Cap Cut.

Graphic Design:

  • Basic skills in Figma.

  • Strong foundation in composition, typography, and visual aesthetics.

Performance expertise:

  • Strong understanding of paid media algorithms and platform-specific formats.

  • Experience working with hook-driven storytelling frameworks.

  • Strong visual awareness and up-to-date trend sensitivity.

AI Tools:

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Higgsfield, LTX, Midjourney, Runway, Eleven Labs, Kling, and similar AI platforms.

Good to have skills:

  • Strong storyboarding / storytelling skills (preparing boards for animation).

  • Basic sound design skills.

  • Ability to use sound effects strategically to enhance engagement and retention.

  • UX/UI design.
