Coalition Technologies is seeking a highly organized, client-focused, and results-driven Remote SEO Project Manager / Marketing Project Manager to lead SEO projects, manage campaign workflows, support marketing strategy, and coordinate teams to ensure client work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEO, Google Ads, project management, client communication, campaign performance analysis, and team leadership. You will help develop marketing strategies, monitor campaign performance, manage SEO team workflows, review deliverables, and support communication between clients, Digital Producers, team leads, and senior management.

We are looking for talented and diligent candidates who perform well on our skills assessments. Strong skills test performance may be considered even if a candidate does not meet every preferred experience or educational background requirement.

SEO Project Manager Responsibilities

As a SEO Project Manager / Marketing Project Manager, your duties will include:

• Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to support client business goals and objectives
• Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics with team leads, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement
• Making data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance when needed
• Managing SEO team workflows by assigning tasks, following up on progress, and ensuring client work is completed well, on time, and within budget
• Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between marketing teams and other departments
• Providing regular project status updates to senior management
• Participating in client meetings as needed
• Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and SEO project management
• Recommending innovative strategies and tools to improve marketing efforts
• Mentoring and coaching team members and supporting their professional development
• Identifying needed resources and assigning individual responsibilities
• Creating training materials and improving internal work processes
• Identifying concerns and addressing them appropriately
• Reviewing deliverables prepared by the team before passing work to Digital Producers

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills in a client-facing role
• Experience presenting professional materials to clients in on-camera meetings
• Experience with search engine optimization
• Experience managing Google Ads accounts
• Project management experience
• Solid understanding of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, work planning, specifications, resource allocation, and team meeting management
• Knowledge of project management software such as Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, Salesforce, or similar tools
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influence, facilitation, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, team workflows, and client expectations
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
• Reliable internet and power
• Reliable computer with webcam, microphone, and speakers

Preferred Skills

The following experience is preferred but not required:

• Google Ads Certification
• Project management certifications
• Demonstrated leadership experience with teams of 3 or more people
• Understanding of web development
• Ability to write HTML, CSS, or PHP
• Experience with WordPress and/or Magento
• Experience managing SEO, PPC, web development, or digital marketing projects
• Experience creating training materials, improving processes, and supporting team development

Compensation

For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
