Motion Designer
Lodgify
Job Description
Creative delivery & project ownership: Bring high-impact motion and video content to life across key channels, including brand campaigns, performance marketing, product storytelling, and social platforms. Take projects from concept to completion, balancing creative quality with brand and business goals. Flag risks early and problem-solve to keep things moving.
Consistency & systems: Help maintain and evolve our motion principles. Build reusable templates and scalable motion systems that maintain consistent output across touchpoints and help the wider team move faster.
Craft execution: Deliver polished work using tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro. Bring strong narrative structure, pacing, sound design, and music selection to every project.
Partner closely with marketing and other teams. Clearly explain your creative choices, take feedback well, and contribute ideas that improve how we work.
Support & coordination: Support and occasionally guide junior designers, interns, or freelancers on shared projects. Help coordinate external partners, freelancers, and agencies to keep their output aligned with brand standards.
Innovation & workflow evolution: Stay curious about new tools, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled workflows that can make our video and motion work faster and better.
Solid experience in motion design and video production, with a strong output demonstrating real ownership across brand, marketing, and product touchpoints.
Comfortable working independently, managing your own priorities and deadlines while keeping quality high.
Good understanding of brand marketing, able to translate guidelines into consistent motion across campaigns and channels.
Strong hands-on skills in motion design and video editing, including proficiency in tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro, and a good eye for storytelling, pacing, and sound.
Confident collaborating cross-functionally, able to explain your creative thinking to marketing and other stakeholders.
Comfortable supporting or informally guiding other designers or collaborators, even without formal management experience.
Curious and adaptable with new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, always looking to work smarter.
Generative video tools such as Runway, Google Veo, Sora, or Mito, for quick concepting, b-roll, or exploring a style before committing to a full shoot.
AI voice and audio tools like Eleven Labs or Adobe Podcast, for voiceovers, dubbing, or cleaning up sound.
AI image tools such as Midjourney or Adobe Firefly, for quick storyboard frames, mood boards, or concept art before production starts.
