Overview

Wishpond Technologies currently has the position of Marketing Account Manager available. We’re excited to tell you about it.

We’re seeking a Marketing Account Manager to own a portfolio of 30–60 SMB clients and be the primary driver of their marketing success. This is a strategic, high-ownership role for someone who can think like a consultant, build like a marketer, and communicate like a trusted partner.

This new role is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. In collaboration with the Account Management Team and all departments, the Marketing Account Manager is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies Ltd.

Responsibilities

  • Build a clear understanding of each client's business goals from day one and translate those into a marketing strategy with defined, measurable outcomes.
  • Own those outcomes. Track performance against agreed benchmarks and proactively adjust strategy to keep clients on track.
  • Identify growth opportunities, upsell where appropriate, and keep clients engaged, informed, and confident in the value they're receiving.
  • Design and execute full digital marketing campaigns; paid social, Google Ads, email, content, and landing pages; independently and at pace.
  • Use AI tools to produce campaign assets, ad copy, creative concepts, performance reports, and strategy briefs at a level and speed that was previously impossible for a single person.
  • Deliver campaigns that meet client expectations, every time.
  • Be the kind of account manager clients trust completely: proactive, clear, and always one step ahead of their questions.
  • Bring clients insights and recommendations, not just status updates.
  • Handle difficult conversations with confidence and honesty.
  • Use a best‑in‑class AI tool suite daily: Chat GPT Teams, Claude, Canva Teams, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway ML, Surfer SEO, and Cap Cut; and stay genuinely excited to learn and master new capabilities fast.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Digital Marketing, or Client Strategy; SaaS background preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently build and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of what actually drives ROI for small businesses and how to talk about it with clients who aren't marketers.
  • Real experience with AI tools in a professional context, not just curiosity, but actual usage.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or Google Analytics 4; background in roles measured on client retention or revenue growth; and experience with email marketing and automation platforms.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, written and spoken. Your emails, reports, and presentations are clear, polished, and client-ready.
  • The organizational ability to manage 30–60 client relationships without dropping the ball.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

  • It is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, and headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. Certain roles will be required to utilize and download company-approved software.
  • The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours in either the Eastern Time Zone or the Pacific Time Zone.
  • Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment references, criminal record, and credit checks.
  • Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
