About the Role

As a Data Scientist for Binance Square, you will be responsible for designing and managing Search services and models that power personalised user experiences on our social content platform.

You will apply advanced Machine Learning personalised techniques, leveraging design patterns and tools to deliver highly relevant and engaging content to users.

With a strong foundation in Search systems and an understanding of the Web3 and crypto business domain, you will drive the development of core modules using data-driven strategies to maximise impact.

You will also play a key role in identifying user needs and growth opportunities, collaborating with Business and Product teams to define success metrics and measure the value of AI-driven personalisation.

This role requires both technical depth and product intuition to elevate the impact of Binance Square as the go-to platform for the global crypto community.

This role is 100% Remote, Work From Home based.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and managing Search and recommendation services and models.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning powered personalization methods, design patterns and tools.
• In-depth understanding of Search systems with business domain knowledge to take the impact of AI products to the next level.
• Drive the development of core modules with a data-driven strategy to maximize impact.
• Identify the needs and opportunities, define success metrics with Business and Product management teams.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Excellent hands-on experience with popular Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with application development practices at scale.
• Good global team collaboration skills and experience are a plus.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese communication for efficient cross-team collaboration.
