Overview

This role focuses on data-driven risk analytics and model deployment for Binance’s compliance, risk, KYC, and KYB initiatives. You will lead analyses, deploy models, and collaborate with stakeholders to balance user experience with risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze risk patterns occurring on Binance platforms, using data-driven thinking and quantitative analysis methodologies to identify, measure, contain and mitigate risks such as fraud trading, spam registrations, account takeovers, card acquiring risk, and payment fraud.
  • Deploy, monitor, and assess the effectiveness and stability of variables, rules and models; maintain and iterate the rules and strategies regularly to improve the key risk matrix.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to develop new rules and strategies with an optimized balance between user experience and risk mitigation solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • At least five years of data analysis or data mining experience; risk analysis background in financial derivatives (futures contracts, leverage trading) or e-commerce platforms is preferred. Knowledge of blockchain, payments, and risk domains is a plus.
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one professional analysis tool, such as Python or R.
  • Good willingness and ability to learn; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and good coordination and communication.
