WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Owning end-to-end production of YouTube content featuring Preply tutors and learners - from concept and scriptwriting through to final delivery. This means developing compelling story angles, writing clear and engaging scripts, briefing and coordinating with tutors and learners on camera, and overseeing editing and reviews across formats (long-form YouTube videos, Shorts, and serialized storytelling series).
- Defining and optimizing content strategy for Preply’s YouTube channel.
- Leading B2B and Tutor video production, creating content that speaks to companies as well as the tutor community, showcasing how Preply can support them best
- Managing the YouTube content calendar in close collaboration with the Social Media Manager, ensuring tutor, learner and business stories are produced on time, on brand, and optimized for the platform.
- Sourcing, briefing and building long-term relationships with tutors and learners who have the personality and story to show up well on camera, identifying the right voices for the right content moments.
- Collaborating with the Influencer Manager on the nano-influencer program, with a specific focus on tutor-led content that feels authentic rather than produced.
- Collecting creative benchmarks, running inspiration sessions, and keeping the team sharp on YouTube trends and what makes education and human interest content perform.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 8+ years of experience in video content production - with a strong portfolio that spans both consumer storytelling and B2B content.
- Proven scriptwriting skills. You can take a tutor's journey, a learner's breakthrough, or a business transformation story and shape it into a narrative that holds attention.
- Hands-on production experience: comfortable directing non-professional talent on camera and getting the best out of real people in real settings.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the seniority to own a production pipeline end to end, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping detail.
- Deep knowledge of YouTube formats, trends, and what makes educational and professional content perform organically on the platform.
- A collaborative, proactive working style. You work well across Social, Supply, B2B, Influencer and Brand teams and know how to lead processes forward with clarity and conviction.
- Advanced English required. Spanish is a plus.
