Overview

Superside is hiring an Account Director to lead and grow a portfolio of strategically important enterprise customers. You’ll own the full customer relationship (from pre-sale scoping through delivery, renewal, and expansion) ensuring our customers see Superside as a long-term creative partner.

This role sits at the intersection of customer strategy, commercial growth, and delivery excellence. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive retention and expansion across complex, multi-workstream accounts.

You’ll be accountable for retention, expansion (GRR & NDR), delivery quality, operational scalability, and the long-term health of your accounts, including driving meaningful AI-led transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end relationship for 5–10 enterprise customers, ensuring retention, expansion, and executive trust.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies, identifying upgrade and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead renewals and commercial negotiations in partnership with leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and procurement leaders, positioning Superside as a long-term partner.
  • Translate customer business objectives into clear, scalable creative programs.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Producers to ensure seamless delivery across workstreams.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point, resolving issues quickly and protecting customer confidence.
  • Monitor account health, burn rates, and pacing to ensure strong performance and profitability.
  • Develop ROI-driven business cases that demonstrate the value of Superside’s model.
  • Champion AI-driven creative opportunities, identifying where automation and Gen AI can unlock additional value.
  • Coach and develop PMs and Producers, raising the bar on customer management and operational excellence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product, and Operations to align on resourcing and execution.

Requirements

  • The Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in account management or client services in a creative, marketing, digital, or professional services environment. Proven track record of managing and growing high-dollar global accounts. Direct experience with enterprise software, D2C and B2B clients is highly preferred.
  • Previous roles: 3–5+ years in an account leadership role (Group Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, or equivalent).
  • Commercial: Strong commercial acumen with ownership of revenue and retention targets.
  • Leadership: You possess leadership skills that inspire others to want to work for you. You are comfortable managing direct reports and fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
  • Operations: You are operationally minded and excel at designing systems that can withstand the pressure of accelerating delivery timelines without sacrificing quality.
