Senior data engineer

We are seeking for a new senior data engineer to join our well-established Data Acquisition team. You will be working with exceptionally large quantities of near real-time data from a wide range of heterogeneous sources. You will be solving complex tasks and finding solutions to problems that arise whilst processing vast amounts of data.

As part of your job, you will closely collaborate with backend, frontend, product, design, and other data team colleagues.

• Data pipelines development in our Airflow environment;

• Data architecture & modelling of our existing validation schemas;

• Maintaining and observing our data quality & integrity platforms such as Datadog, great expectations and custom tools to serve the highest quality data within business;

• Leadership, mentoring within a team and collaboration with wider audience across other teams;

• Evaluating and deciding future technologies that fit data acquisition team.

• Object-oriented programming experience;

• An advanced practical experience in Python;

• Proven practical knowledge of serverless applications;

• Extensive experience in AWS cloud environment;

• Proven experience in designing complex data processing systems with a wide variety of heterogeneous data;

• Practical experience in data modeling, concepts, standards, and best practices.

• Experience in enterprise architecture;

• Good conceptual and logical modeling skills.

  Gross monthly salary range starts at 3800-5900eur
  We are open to negotiation - the final offer will depend on your competences.
