The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people's demands.

ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Organizational Change Management Specialist to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with the ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Organizational Management Specialist works on team of Business Consultants to ensure customers quickly and efficiently adapt to various change initiatives and projects by focusing on how changes to business systems and processes or the implementation of new technology affects existing personnel and creating management plans that reduce customer employee resistance to change

  • Creates change management processes and implements tools to help customer personnel quickly adopt any changes that take place due to a new project, which involves preparing, supporting and equipping people to adapt and use changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

  • Supports efforts to communicate changes, that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes, along with the ways to reduce impact to the organization

  • Conducts studies and analyses to assess (1) how changes impact customer employees, (2) if managers and supervisors are ready to implement them and (3) identifying critical people in the organization enforcing the changes. These responsibilities include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.

  • Support and coach managers and supervisors as their teams go through training programs to transition into new change processes and policies.

  • Identifies potential risk associated with proposed changes and develops ways to mitigate resistance while defining ways to work with staff within the organization in helping change adoption activities.

  • Works closely with organizational leadership to define employee roles and responsibilities to ensure employee engagement, ensuring changes are communicated effectively, and staff are supported throughout the change transition.

  • Identifies and reports issues that arise as a result of implementing various changes within customer organizations

  • Creates relevant metrics to measure success of an implemented change, by continuously monitoring progress, creating avenues to receive employee feedback and propose adjustments based on the metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong grasp of business process mapping processes and documentation

  • Good data gathering and analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide and coach others

  • Ability to develop forms of marketing materials

  • Good research, writing, and presentation skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrable business and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired

  • Change Management certification
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
