Fullstack Java Engineer

This is a remote position. For a client specializing in digital, custom, and tailor-made products, we're looking for a Mid Fullstack Java Engineer.

You will be working on a project for one of the biggest game studios, renowned for its popular MOBA and FPS series. Use your TypeScript skills to design, build, and test backend functionality, deploy microservices on AWS using Terraform, and deliver solid performance to users.
Your duties will encompass creating, testing, and deploying backend system features utilizing TypeScript or Java. You'll be responsible for deploying and managing microservices on AWS using Terraform, as well as maintaining production systems accessed by consumers in various European countries. Additionally, you will handle issue resolution, engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and feature refinement sessions with product owners. Working closely with team members and other teams that depend on the functionalities you develop will also be integral to your role.
Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in backend software development.
  
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, testing, data structures, and algorithms.
  
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or Java.
  
• Proficient with DBMS like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  
• Knowledgeable about REST/GraphQL APIs.
  
• Understanding of object-oriented design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Self-motivated and proactive.
  
• Proficient in English.
  

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with object-oriented and/or functional languages like Java, Elixir, C++, C#, Golang, Erlang, Python, Kotlin, Node.js.
  
• Experience or interest in developing Cloud and Infrastructure solutions using AWS and CI/CD processes with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, CircleCI, GitlabCI, Datadog, etc.
  
• Proficiency in French or German.
