C++ Unreal Software Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team of Unreal Engineers dedicated to crafting cutting-edge real-time graphics solutions for sports broadcasting enhancement and officiating. We specialize in delivering a mix of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) graphics to our clients, utilizing an Unreal-powered pipeline complemented by our in-house art assets.
As a crucial member of our team, your responsibilities will range from addressing simple bug fixes to developing key functionalities for deliverables within set timelines. In a senior role, you'll be expected to collaborate with our product team to drive overall product development, mentor junior team members, and engage in regular design discussions and daily stand-up meetings.
Continuous testing of products is vital, given the practical limitations in end-to-end testing environments. All work undergoes peer review, and your active participation in this process is essential.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance our Unreal graphics platform.
Collaborate closely with product engineers to produce technical specifications.
Provide innovative solutions to unique problems.
Drive the core system to adopt new technologies.
Create code that ensures long-term maintainability.
Actively participate in peer reviews via pull requests.
Provide debugging and support for live software.
Extensive experience with Unreal, ideally Unreal 5 (but not essential), encompassing both C++ and Blueprints. Alternative engine experience will be considered.
Experience coding with modern C++11/14/17.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines.
Experience in backend graphics engine development (DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan).
Demonstrated expertise in AR/VR technologies.
- HLSL/GLSL shader experience.
- Strong foundation in mathematics.
- Agile workflow experience.
Proficiency with Git or other source control software.
